Welcome to the Jon Wedger Private Community

This Service Agreement outlines the terms and conditions under which you ("Member") agree to use the services offered by the Jon Wedger Private Community ("Community"). By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

The services offered by the Community include access to a members' area with various categories and content specifically designed for member engagement, including but not limited to forums, articles, videos, newsletters, and support resources (collectively, "Services"). The Services are provided to support advocacy for child abuse victims and survivors and to offer a platform for sharing, learning, and community support.

2. Content Warning and Member Discretion

The Community addresses sensitive and potentially distressing topics, including child abuse and its impacts. While our goal is to foster support and healing, some content may be triggering or cause discomfort to some members. We advise discretion and encourage members to prioritise their mental and emotional well-being when engaging with the Community's content.

3. Member Conduct

Members are expected to conduct themselves with respect, empathy, and understanding towards all community members. Harassment, abuse, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated. The Community reserves the right to remove content and suspend or terminate membership for conduct that violates this principle.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

The privacy and confidentiality of our members are paramount. Members must respect the privacy and confidentiality of information shared within the Community. Unauthorised disclosure of sensitive information about other members or the Community's proceedings is strictly prohibited.

5. Use of Service

The Services are for personal, non-commercial use only. Members may not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose. Members agree to comply with all local laws regarding online conduct and acceptable content.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Community, its affiliates, and its service providers will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from the use or the inability to use the Services.

7. Indemnification

Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Community, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses arising from: (a) your use of and access to the Service; (b) your violation of any term of this Agreement; (c) your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, privacy, or property right; or (d) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party.

8. Modifications to the Service and Prices

The Community reserves the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Service (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all Services, including but not limited to membership subscription fees, are subject to change upon 30 days' notice from us. Such notice may be provided at any time by posting the changes to the Community site or the Service itself.

9. Termination

This Agreement is effective until terminated by either you or the Community. Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice from the Community if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this Agreement.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Community operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11. Acknowledgment and Agreement

By accessing or using the Community's Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Agreement, understand it, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
